This Saturday is the opening of ‘A Saga in the Stars: A Tribute Event to a Galaxy Far, Far Away’ A Star Wars tribute show at Gallery Nucleus. My piece was about Luke’s failure in the cave on Dagobah. Check it out along with the art of some amazing artists, if you’re in the So Cal area!
The Animal Kingdom at Gallery Nucleus
This Saturday is the opening of the Animal Kingdom Art Exhibition. There’s a preview of my contribution at the top of the post, entitled ‘Ouroboros.’ Sorry I don’t have a better picture of it, my camera should be working again soon, I’ll grab a snapshot when the gallery opens. If you’re not doing anything and you’re in the SoCal Area, feel free to roll through and check out all the bomb ass artwork on display! There will be some big guns showing, so make sure to check it out!
PS I know it says you can get 15% off store items if you present this flier, but please don’t try to print out this tumblr post lol
Foootaction X ADIDAS
Second half of the project. These will be up in a Houston Store. Both pieces were poking a little fun at the conventions of classic and high art.
Once again thanks to AD Ricky Young!
Footaction X ADIDAS
This was so long it couldn’t fit (oh my) so I split it in two parts. Commission I did for Adidas Originals. This is the bite sized version, the original was a huuuuge 17 x 38.
Thanks to AD Ricky Young!
Andrew DeGraff.
Movie Map Illustrations by Andrew DeGraff. ”Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom” is above, check out his maps of other great movies below:
Every now an then you see an image and just think, “god dammit I wish I thought of that.” This guy was one of my professors back at Pratt! He painted All the Indiana Jones movies and Star Wars movies as maps, and drew the path of all the characters throughout the entire movie.
Check out his work and Supersonic Electronic if you don’t already.
This was also on Geekologie the other day. As they said, you’ll notice Drew didn’t paint either the Star Wars prequels or Crystal Skull. That’s because those movies are ass.
